Heyo, the answer is (2,-1).

5x+y=9

3x+2y=4

I went ahead and multiplied the first equation by -2(so I can get rid of the y's)

-10x-2y=-18

3x+2y=4

Just simply add now

-7x=-14

Divide by -7 to get x by itself

x=2
